Standing On The Pulpit

Should preachers follow the scripture? Is the Bible our guide?

Nehemiah 8:4 "And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose..." Note he stood UPON the pulpit.

    I guess that this means that we should only baptize outside in running water.

    I wonder if leaving a window open and the water faucet running would suffice?

    If we did, they would probably call the "cookie truck" to take us to our padded cell.
